Southern Wisconsin has seen fog/mist so far today, but a better chance for light rain will come later this afternoon and into the evening. A light wintry mix will fall after that, with the best chance for that staying northwest of Madison. #wiwx
Winter Weather Advisories exist to our northwest, as areas near the Twin Cities could see a half foot of snow today. Madison & surrounding areas will see mostly rain through Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the south is gearing up for a nasty severe weather event this afternoon.
Rain is likely into Tuesday afternoon, but if moisture can hold on, early Wednesday morning could see a wintry mix transition into a few flurries. Winds will pick up to ~35 mph behind this system--leading to a wind chill in the 10s. #wiwx
Monday's a calm one, but we're tracking our next system that will bring southern Wisconsin rain through Tuesday. If this system lingers long enough over us through Tuesday night, a light wintry mix/snow showers are possible into early Wednesday morning. wkow.com/news/rain-ahea…
