Chris Rock says he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and urged his followers on Twitter to “Get vaccinated.” The 56-year-old comedian has previously said he was vaccinated. apne.ws/K9Nvm7u
@AP Steatbelts don’t prevent car accidents. They reduce the likelihood that you‘ll die. Vaccines don’t prevent viruses from reaching your body. They reduce the likelihood that a virus will thrive. Why are people shocked that good preventative measures aren’t magic 100% solutions?
@AP This is ridiculous. Get vaccinated or you will hurt the vaccinated but trust us the vaccine works except until you encounter the virus then in which it doesn’t work. Also you can still spread it and you can die but it still works trust us
@AP While vaccination against COVID is not a panacea (cure-all) but is a permeable shield that attenuates COVID’s effects, lack of vaccination is like surrendering to an enemy and introducing that enemy to friends and loved ones. Don’t give up; fight the enemy; heal each other.
@AP hold up. so he was vaccinated? I thought vaccines make you immune to Covid.
@AP "#ChrisRock on Sunday said he has been diagnosed with #COVID19 and sent a message to anyone still on the fence: Get vaccinated. Rock previously said he was #vaccinated. Appearing on The Tonight Show in May, he said he received the J&J vaccine." Thank you for the report, friends.
@AP I hope he recovers; there is a 90-99% likelihood but still, wishing him well is more important than the unnecessary product marketing message.
@AP I hope everyone is aware of how little sense this makes...
@AP Even if you’re fully vaccinated, you can still contract Covid 19.
@AP Get vaxxed. You can still get covid! You may or may not need a booster! It may or may not work against future variants. You can still spread the virus when you’re vaxxed. Follow the science 🤣
@AP Soooo.....not sure why he's urging vaccination, as it clearly didn't prevent him from getting it.
