@Vegas_AV_Ace @jacobyaudio @chris_neto In my experience it may seem like natural but there early environment elements to help build their personality that make people gravitate to them which helps make them a leader. Yes growing as a leader is never done. #AVintheAM
@chris_neto People skills are harder to teach than tech skills. Great tech skills or great soft skills will take you done a dead-end path that only goes so far. Both will open multiple never ending paths but the person needs to choose their path not the company #AVintheAM

@chris_neto I see mentorship more on the person looking to learn and grow from another people. I see apprenticeship where you are ‘assigned’ to someone to learn skills from. Both are important but both are different actions and different mindset. #AVintheAM 1/x
@chris_neto What are we doing wrong? Everything we are doing is wrong. Many say they want diverse but then keep to the same echo chambers when looking for people. As the saying goes you can’t solve a problem with the same level thinking that got you into the problem. #AVintheAM
@chris_neto We need to get back to the days of getting to know a person. We use too much technology to weed out and it’s configured wrong. I know I gotten weeded out of jobs by a system due to missing a ‘required’ field but I’m sure I would had been a great fit for the job. #AVintheAM
@chris_neto Technology, even AI, it a tool and it needs to be looked at like a tool. If you use the tool wrong it can really hurt everything around you. If you use it right it can bring large benefits to everything around it. #AVintheAM
@chris_neto Culture is big. In fact I just told my boss the other day that if it wasn’t for the culture I most likely would had packed up and moved back to NJ with everything else that has happens in the last 12 months to me #AVintheAM
