remember when AOC said on one of the capitol officers directing her to a safe location had anger and hostility in his eyes—and she wondered whether he was trying to put her in a vulnerable situation—and she was mocked by both left and right? a lot of y'all owe her an apology.

the way people responded to AOC when she went on IG live and talked about her experience that day was absolutely shameful. particularly on the podcast left. just disgusting.
@AngryBlackLady And yet again I ask: who disabled Rep. Pressley’s office emergency call button? And why don’t we know yet? snopes.com/fact-check/pre…
@AngryBlackLady Agree. Erick Erickson and others belittled AOC’s concerns, but she was there, and knew what was happening. The people making fun of her weren’t there.
@AngryBlackLady @MrJonCryer She was a main target and she knew it and she was not protected by properly vetted people. She trusted her instincts and survived. Protect AOC!!! ❤️❤️❤️
@AngryBlackLady As women, we always tell each other to trust our guts. I’m so glad she chose that in that moment.
@AngryBlackLady And has there been ANY repercussions for the officers who let the rioters through?
@AngryBlackLady Anyone who sees the vitriol she endures on social media should know she was telling the truth.
@AngryBlackLady She gets so much undeserved hate and abuse. It is really frustrating. Of course she saw what she saw. If you see it, you know.
@AngryBlackLady We don't know if she was right about the particular Capitol officer who pounded on her door, but she wasn't wrong in general. From her own life experience and from what we've subsequently learned about law enforcement involvement with MAGA, she had good reason to be suspicious.
