I am deeply curious about the story behind the Executive Director of the SJ Police Union breaking bad as a fentanyl kingpin…in her 60s
she continued to import and sell fentanyl on a mass scale *after vein interviewed by Homeland Security*! Like what the hell was going on in her brain
@ArmandDoma The sense of immunity and accountability in the rest of her life and profession
@ArmandDoma I work a lot with whistleblower cops ...and police departments have a culture of impunity...but this is ridiculous
@ArmandDoma Classic Marty Byrde. Much more of an Ozarks "I just have to keep selling because of my debt to x kingpin" vibe, not as much "I am the one who knocks" vibe.
@ArmandDoma This is going to be another Iran/Contra thing I swear. This line in particular, someone would do this if they thought they were protected
@ArmandDoma I live in a neighborhood with lots of police and I'm sadly not surprised. It's not that they're all criminals but there's a deep vein of a mentality that's like "hehe going to bend the rules a bit here" that escalates over time - which is why the older cops are the most corrupt.
