@readjack @B_Craw4D Good point on Melo. But I think Vince and Tmac had more impact on their teams. Melo's Nuggets team were always stacked. Cant say that for Vince and Tmac. Raptors and Magic.
@ron_alann @B_Craw4D I’ll take Melo over McGrady, but it’s closer. But it’s not close to me with Vince. Switch ‘01 Vince and ‘06 Melo, both in their third seasons, Nuggets might miss the playoffs while the Raps might be in the Finals.
@readjack @ron_alann On top of that, Melo never had “stacked teams”
@B_Craw4D @ron_alann Right. He had strong/solid teams.
@readjack @B_Craw4D Dre Miller, Kmart, Camby, Nene just to name a few were all better than Vince/Raps and Tmac/Magic cast. Well, it's just my opinion. 😊 Mo Pete and Juwan Howard were the 2nd best players right? Houston Tmac was already injured 😪
@ron_alann @readjack Andre Miller, KMart, Camby & Nene is *not* a stacked team. Not even close, especially when three of those guys play the same position, and Dre Miller was not an impact player in any way. He was just a decent PG.
@B_Craw4D @ron_alann Right. Melo’s early Nuggets teams were solid at each position. Certainly not stacked. But put those teams in the East and they advance farther than Vince’s Raps or McGrady’s Magic.
@B_Craw4D @ron_alann I really dig that ‘01 Raps team though. They were nice.
@readjack @ron_alann T-Mac did the most w/ less in Orlando. But Melo was right behind him. The farthest Vince Carter got in Orlando was the 2nd round. And his teams missed the Playoffs several times.
@B_Craw4D @readjack Melo was also a 1st round guy right?
@ron_alann @readjack Melo went to the playoffs every year in Denver. He also made it to a Western Conference Finals
