4 weeks agoIt was warming to see #Waterloo gather in such large numbers this morning at the #RemembranceDay2023 service as I laid a wreath on behalf of Canada. This support reaffirms, “at the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.”
Lest we forget. #CanadaRemembers twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

5 months agoWhile we've come a long way in 🇨🇦, we know that we still have more to do, including combatting racism and discrimination in all its forms. It will take every single one of us to build a better and consciously more inclusive Canada for all.
Wishing everyone a happy Canada Day.

5 months agoSaddened to hear of the attack that took place yesterday @UWaterloo, but not surprised. Hate exists in our communities and it must be condemned in all forms. Violence should have no place in 🇨🇦. We all have a role to play.
Our hearts go out to those injured and all impacted.
