@ZacharyGrinDPT The difficulty with FND, is that its basically a diagnosis of exclusion. The DSM-5 criteria says that it needs to have incompatibility with existing and recognized disorders, and other medical or mental health disorders don't explain it better 1/?

@ZacharyGrinDPT In the end, just what it's called is not the most important. The diagnosis should be helpful and point to something that works. So if calling it FND leads to a working therapy, it's very good. If not, it's no better than LC, or ME/CVS or whatever other diagnosis-by-exclusion.
