Shooting in 5v5 team control modes (Play Now Online, MyTeam) will be a bit more challenging/skill-based with this morning’s update. Wide Open green windows also got a small buff in Pro Am and Ante Up.
The week 1 post hook nerf was scaled back some this morning, that should've been the main source of blown close layups for most people. They still won't be automatic but should be noticeably easier to time when open.

Data from your games arrived & its made it clear how badge progression is going. Expectations were set for ship & its evident we overshot at times. Harder to hit badges suffered most but others as well. Todays update (in combo w/ late last week) hits the following issues #NBA2K24

One small addition to the patch 1.2 notes for gameplay... ball/rim physics got a slight restitution adjustment to reduce excessively long rebounds on missed shots.
Long rebounds will be toned down in the next patch

Klay Thompson's ProPLAY jump shot will be receiving some minor changes to more accurately reflect his real life shot. Unfortunately, it didn't make our launch day build cutoff so will need to be patched at a later date. Just a heads up in case you decide to use his J for your MP.
