The Department of "Justice" has once again criminalized the developers of an app that restores financial privacy. The way to fix this it to make money private by default. Privacy must never be "exceptional," or they will make it criminal.

Been called a spook by Scamorai for years along with anyone else that pointed out the flaw in their design. Now you have to trust them not to share the data with the feds that they should never have had in the first place. My sympathy lies with the people they scammed.

@BitMan_PoW Not really they just have find two "good" block but since they don’t have a lot of hashrate the average is less accurate. Also it’s only been 24 hours since my fork is deployed. Can’t wait for an ocean block 👀

tbh I prob wouldn't even advocate for joinmarket the problem with coinjoins is you lose plausible deniability if a regulator wants to screw you over using LN can be easily argued to be "default behavior" mixing coins with the purpose to only obscure their origin, not so much
@rapidlab309 3/ Whirlpool is great but having a centralized coordinator will always make it a target for regulators. And at some point they will have to shutdown or comply. So I want to be skilled in using a tool that is much more resistant.
