“I don’t care about illegal secret police stations that violate sovereignty, let’s talk about these other things that are public knowledge and exist with the consent of the host nations.” 👍🏻
@BobasoyNPC @CIA_in_China Chinese government surveillance of Chinese people/diaspora/dissidents abroad is not a new thing at all. It’s been around at least my whole life. Why are so many of you just now learning about this?? Do none of you ever actually interact with Chinese people in your lives?
@zeemlei @CIA_in_China I don't know if I understand you correctly but I'm asking if any police station has been confirmed operating illegally
@BobasoyNPC @CIA_in_China That’s what “Chinese police outposts” refers to. I think you’re completely misunderstanding what the accusation here is
@zeemlei @CIA_in_China Which misunderstanding? Im asking if i can see confirmation of those
@BobasoyNPC @CIA_in_China Yes and I’m saying quite plainly that this is something that has been going on for years, all around the world. This is not a one off, unique case in the US. The Chinese government monitors dissidents/abroad Chinese in many countries. As for this specific instance of it:
@BobasoyNPC @CIA_in_China the “illegal” part is acting as agents of the Chinese government without registering as such, meaning it is done in secrecy. Idk what you’re misunderstanding
@zeemlei @CIA_in_China I'm asking for the evidence or do I have to wait until the criminal case is over, you i think you misunderstood my position and I don't know what you mean by why are many people finding out now and how many people I've interacted with, im a Chinese diaspora so of course I inter
@zeemlei @CIA_in_China act, I don't know why or care about that really, let's first stick to my question
