I will miss the trademark “wow”s, the over-glorification of every single catcher to put on the gear, and the fixation during ballpark food cutaway shots. But selfishly I will miss the regular ribbings that came from Ray Fosse.
@BrodieNBCS @As_Fan_Radio His health declined very rapidly. Hope is family is doing ok.
@BrodieNBCS I wish the A’s were still playing. We could all be together 😔💚💛
@BrodieNBCS He’s going to be missed by so many. So sad
@BrodieNBCS Sounds like Fosse was a real Don Rickles, where you looked forward to getting roasted by him. Sad day in Bay Area baseball.
@BrodieNBCS “Over-glorification” of catchers is not possible.
@BrodieNBCS Damn near every night during the summer, for as long as I can remember, Ray and Glen were guests in my house. They would be talking baseball during dinner and while putting the kids to bed. It feels like I lost a family member, and I'm sad damnit! RIP Mr Fosse.
@BrodieNBCS Every catcher was the best player in the game to Fosse. Absolutely loved it. Also the never ending demand that catcher blocks be a stat. "It's not in the scorebook, but I put em in.
@BrodieNBCS I'll never forget his scream of pure joy on Coco's walkoff hit against the tigers in game 4 of the 2012 ALDS
@BrodieNBCS I gotta get off twitter this morning 😢
