@KirstieEnnis, a USMC #Veteran, climber, and Building Homes for Heroes Lead Ambassador shares how a simple piece of fabric can make all the difference in the mountains. She modifies her pants to access components and makes adjustments to her prosthetics and tools while climbing.
@KirstieEnnis's last attempt at #Everest made her realize how much traverses could impact her movement during the ascent. So, she came up with ideas to improve her quality of life and for those who face similar challenges. Some are simple solutions, while others are pipe-hitting dreams.
Despite being a visionary, @KirstieEnnis admits that she doesn't have the skillsets to make some of her ideas come to fruition. But, she was fortunate to meet Geoff, owner, creator, and fabricator of Peak Flow Designs, who took a shot on her ideas. #MountainClimber
After a year, @KirstieEnnis picked up her newly adapted gear, which included a modified summit suit, improved climbing pants, and a custom crampon case. She thanked Geoff for being a part of the village it takes to make it to the summit. #KeClimbs
