@Buster_ESPN This seems like a stance that can’t be substantiated with something that works.
@T_m_9_3 Limit the managers to the use of 5 pitchers per nine innings, with obvious exceptions for blowouts and injuries.
@Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 That’s a terrible idea full stop. The 3 batter minimum was fine but why should you leave pitchers out there just throw pitches and possibly injure themselves by being forced to pitch more than they’re able to?
@PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Or change the rule and give players an off-season to adjust their training, warm ups and pitching strategy. How many of these guys do you really believe grew up only going 10 pitches?
@ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 So you’re saying you don’t want specialist pitchers? I guess we may as well have fewer roster spots and few pitchers then . This is probably the dumbest idea ever
@j_macgeever @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Yes. I'm not sure how this is controversial? Less specialty pitchers means less time not playing baseball as we watch six commercials and the reliever warms up.
@ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Nobody agrees with you as you can see by the replies 😂
@ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Think it got 3 people out of 500 to agree with it 😂
@j_macgeever @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Bc Twitter is real life.
@ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Rea life says MLBPA would rather end baseball than put that rule into place
@j_macgeever @ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @T_m_9_3 Or not. Because the union is well aware that starting pitchers historically drive the pricing in the market, and if the importance of SP is diminished, then the money spent on pitching is diminished.
@Buster_ESPN @ptb2003 @PatrickTaylor34 @T_m_9_3 You’re devaluing certain teams and how smart they are and relievers never gonna work or happen
