There is a desperate need for the MLB, the Players Association to talk about all the pitching changes, and restoring the preeminence of the starting pitchers. It'd be better for the product, it'd be better for the union, given the importance of starters in setting market prices.
@Buster_ESPN This seems like a stance that can’t be substantiated with something that works.
@T_m_9_3 Limit the managers to the use of 5 pitchers per nine innings, with obvious exceptions for blowouts and injuries.
@Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Should limit pitcher roster spots
@bucs2829 @Buster_ESPN @T_m_9_3 Should be a net zero for them. I’m not saying reduce the roster (which they just expanded). Just limit the pitchers. Have a larger bench. 13 pitchers is stupid
@bucs2829 @vicdamone1979 @T_m_9_3 It's not as if the roster spots would disappear. They would be filled by other players. And relievers are easily the lowest-paid of all positional groups.
