Netflix fired an employee for sharing "confidential, commercially sensitive information" outside of the company about Dave Chappelle's controversial stand-up special "The Closer," the company confirmed to CNN. cnn.it/3lLADmx
@CNN I loved the special it was great. I'd fire an employee too for leaking documents that weren't theirs to begin with. I think every owner would lol
@CNN Sounds like Netflix hiring
@CNN The real controversy is the special isn’t that funny. Like not even a little. His last few were great, this one, not so much.
@CNN CNN muckraking over a standard employment practice
@CNN um...good, right? this isnt out of line. is it? how about some professionalism? not company loyalty, per se, but this is hardly the pentagon papers. ppl can make up thr own minds, on this comedy special. yeah, fire 'em. when this is out of the cycle, see if it was worth. -JC
@CNN Note to self: Don’t share confidential, commercially sensitive information.
@CNN Thats great. If they are so upset about it and want payback, they can come together and start their own streaming giant. This will be a win win for everybody.
