@NrinderWard3 It is my impression @HamiltonPolice are not enforcing excessive vehicle noise without a complaint. I'm wondering if you have any information? Thanks. Cc @CameronKroetsch
@SJ_Hurley @NrinderWard3 @HamiltonPolice I think you’re right, generally, though I’m relatively sure they will enforce it if they come across it in the course of their duties.
@CameronKroetsch @NrinderWard3 @HamiltonPolice This is why I'm asking. That doesn't seem to be the case. Even when a vehicle is stopped for example, an obstructed plate, the driver seems able to retain the modified exhaust producing the excessive noise.
@SJ_Hurley @NrinderWard3 @HamiltonPolice It’s a good question, but I’m truly not sure what the standard practice is. If you’d like to report something that you’ve witnessed, there’s a complaint process.
@CameronKroetsch @NrinderWard3 @HamiltonPolice I'm not sure what the complaint would be. I am thinking that if they're only acting on complaints that ought to be communicated and there ought to be a streamlined reporting process. That's all.
