Damn, so many people despise Dak Prescott, I’m starting to think now that it’s nothing to do with his quarterback play or pay…
@LawsNation @therealdre_jack This fact is proven by how I have seen some go so far to defend and excuse other QBs for the exact same things that they bash and trash Dak for. They also hold Dak to higher/different standards ,rules and expectations than they do with many other QBs in the NFL.
@AwesomeBamon @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Well someone people have to be twice as good as their counterparts in the same jobs.
@FreeReggieT @AwesomeBamon @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Dak outlived his rookie deal dude balled way better than his draft status, however he is now being paid like a elite qb that could carry team to 🏆. Sadly he don’t look like he is on that level which is why some are frustrated
@gamingg21674080 @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Even when other QBs are getting paid a big contract, they'll still have those who will defend them when they have a bad game or their team fails to make it to the Super Bowl. The whole contract Dak is only something that mostly mentioned with Dak.
@AwesomeBamon @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Nah Rodgers has a Super Bowl and people are mocking his chokes because he’s suppose to be elite. The reason people are upset dak didn’t live up to Allen/mahomes is because he’s being paid on their level. We can’t tie up that much money if qb is not on par with elites
@gamingg21674080 @AwesomeBamon @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Dak didn’t get paid as much as them in their rookie deals. His new deal is making up for him being the cheapest starter in the NFL for 4 years. Dak had a lot of leverage over the 6-10 Cowboys without him. Another point is that Dak won’t be close to the top of pay in a few years.
@CaydenMcLaughl1 @AwesomeBamon @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Idk many thing he still will be close to top pay he will probably get another new deal before many of these next QBs get their deals
@gamingg21674080 @AwesomeBamon @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation 3 years is a long time. Cap is now growing at an insane rate again. The only outlier was last year due to Covid the cap decreased. The cap space will be insanely high by Daks new deal. And he still is a great quarterback. Those are hard to come by. Ask the Browns.
@CaydenMcLaughl1 @AwesomeBamon @FreeReggieT @therealdre_jack @LawsNation Dak has the cowboys by balls the next two years so he’s probably going to get a new contract sooner than that 3 years. I think he can force them to extend him next year or year after tbh
