Should my next @amortowles read be The Lincoln Highway or Rules of Civility? 🤔 A Gentleman in Moscow just became one of my favorite books of all time.
@ChrisDigresses @amortowles I'm in the same boat....
@StambaughRyan @amortowles Decisions, decisions...
@ChrisDigresses @amortowles Ha! True, good luck! Unfortunately I am a little backed up in my reading; but hoping to get to one or both of these titles this year!
@StambaughRyan @amortowles Thanks, you too! I'm currently planning out my April TBR, and one of these two will most likely be on it.
@ChrisDigresses @amortowles The spread I did based on foods in the book. Amor, thanks for what you do. You have brought a lot of people together to enjoy good company and discuss a wonderful book. Happiness in the Aristotle sense of the word.
@StambaughRyan @amortowles 🤯 That is awesome. I'm not much of a chef, but if you have any recipes or recommendations, feel free to share them. Where do you get some of that stuff?
@ChrisDigresses @amortowles For the Okroshka (Russian Cold Soup) the one hard-to-find ingredient was Kvass (kinda of a flat soda-like drink, made from Rye bread). Which I found at a local international store in Grand Rapids (Urartu). Had a local French baker make the Mille Feuille. mariaushakova.com/2020/07/okrosh…
