Don’t utter the words “I want to play college baseball” & then look for ways out of opportunities that will get you better. Champions find a way. Period. No one feels like doing what it takes everyday. But winners know it’s not about how you feel. So they get it done & done well.
@CoachMongero @BrMcGinley3 The tweet of the day has arrived.
@CoachMongero @DirtBrosInfield And the life lessons you learn during the process will life lasting.
@CoachMongero Bob Knight used to say “Everyone has the will to win. What separates great players is the will to PREPARE to win”
@CoachMongero So many say I want to play at the collegiate level but many don't want to do what it takes to get there. Be realistic about how far your willing to go and what you're willing to sacrifice to get there. You MUST love this game or you'll NEVER reach your full potential!
@CoachMongero College baseball is 40-60 hrs a week before classes and studying. Be careful what you wish for. If your going to ride pine you should really think about it.
@CoachMongero I see this way more often than I wished I did. I have players/parents each summer tell me that they want to play college baseball only to not take my advice and go about it their way. Years later they wish they would have listened to the free advice..
