Baseball is not an equal opportunity sport. The best players play. Want more playing time? Get better. Consistently barrel balls up in practice/scrimmages, improve your defense/arm strength, increase your strike throwing percentage with two quality pitches. Become the best choice
@CoachMongero “Become the best choice.” Love it , Coach!
@CoachMongero @BaseballMentors It definitely is not. Kids whose parents can afford private swing coaches, private pitching coaches, private S&C coaches, Nutritionists, Sports Psychologist's, Showcases, travel ball etc. etc., have a far better chance.
@CoachMongero Says the guy that puts 4 creams in his coffee rofl
@CoachMongero "Baseball is not an equal opportunity sport." So true! The actual problem is the exact opposite and until the powers that can't self recognize the inherent problems of subjectivity will remain the same. Only a few no brainers exist on any given team, all else is subjective...
@CoachMongero If this was true, Cal Raleigh would have been the DH on Wednesday afternoon. And don't say he was hurt or too tired. Seattle has 3 of the next 8 days off. But it would be nice if this were true. High draft picks get more ABs than 20th rounders, no matter the stats.
@CoachMongero Yeah I’m putting that quote up in my gym!
@CoachMongero @LLC_Baseball I agree this is how it should be but unfortunately it’s not how it always is
@CoachMongero Work on your physicality. It's a real thing people.
