Awesome to see that my #research on "spillover bias in diversity judgment" with Margaret A. Neale and Lindy Greer has now been independently replicated by other scholars! Check out the new conceptual #replication and extension 👉 lnkd.in/gMyWj-XE (1/n)
In our original research, we showed people's perceptions of diversity are systematically biased: when there's more diversity along one dimension (ethnicity, shirt colors), people also "see" more diversity on other dimensions (gender, skills) even when this can't reflect reality.
Why is this a big deal? Because your mind might be tricking you into "seeing" more diversity than there really is (e.g., within a group or organization). Check out our original #research 👉 lnkd.in/gF32YN4g @MaggieNeale @LindredG
