@Prog_Senate 3) Conservative (CPC) and Canadians (CSG) senators fillibustered amendements introduced at agriculture committee. Despite that one amendment finally adopted.

@Prog_Senate 2) National Finance, chaired by a conservative senator, refused to look at it!!! Agriculture committee chair resisted having witnesses opposed to it.

@Prog_Senate 1) this bill was not obstructed in the Senate. Introduced in March, the conservative senators initiated second reading only in May. Nine sittings days later, including my speech as critic, that stage was completed and bill sent to committees.
