So today is #IronDeficiencyDay. As someone who has battled this condition for years now I’m taking a moment to be grateful for a treatment soon that should help me overcome the cause of it. Severe anaemia has affected my life in so many ways….
…hair loss (thankfully I have an abundance), heart palpitations, shortness of breath, headaches, dizziness, & a lethargy like no other (even fell asleep in a work meeting once), cold all the time and pale skin. And that’s before the diagnostics you go through…
…it ain’t easy being a vampire! 🤣🧛♀️ I’m grateful for my body for still allowing me to push through this condition. To be able to exercise (albeit not as much as I’d like), to be able to work full time. I know I’m blessed in that respect….
…and the support I’ve had from key people in my life has been invaluable. It’s not easy been chronically ill, but not looking that way. People forget you may be having a real rough day because you’re still up and at it. Those that understand this are worth so much to me 🙏🏻
@ravenhaired_sub What a journey .... but look at you .... 😍😍😍🥰🥰 xx
@Dan77869213 That’s so nice of you. I have my good days and I have my not-so-good but overall I’m incredibly blessed.
@ravenhaired_sub You handle it beautifully. With a clearly wonderful husband x
