Fact #1: Voter suppression is not happening. Fact #2: Democrats use the voter suppression myth to (1) push for federal takeover of elections and (2) end the filibuster. Fact #3: They do this so they can be the authoritarians they truly are.
@DanCrenshawTX There comes a point when the federal government has to get involved when people are being denied or making it difficult to vote, like 3 to 8 hr voting lines for example. Or in your case, the gerrymandered district that gives you the freedom to say all this BS w/o accountability.
@DanCrenshawTX Always 1 step forward, 2 steps back with this guy. Suggesting there’s been no voter suppression in the face of the hundreds of new laws in just the last year is beyond absurd.
@DanCrenshawTX 1) if voter suppression is not an issue, what’s the harm of making it easy to vote? 2) the filibuster is a bygone relic of the Jim Crowe era 3) everyone wants to be in power all the time, both sides Dan.
@DanCrenshawTX lmaooooo What district is this that’s gerrymandered to the extreme, Danny?
@DanCrenshawTX I think you’ve lost your perspective.
@DanCrenshawTX Your district is probably the worst I've seen dude
@DanCrenshawTX To me, a nod to authoritarianism are the laws that allow the Republican Legislature to potential throw out the results and insert their own. And that’s no myth. nytimes.com/2021/04/02/us/…
@DanCrenshawTX It’s not enough to say it, force the @DNC to legally identify every case and prove that it changed the outcome of an election. Ask for names and cases so each can be investigated.
@DanCrenshawTX People in districts this gerrymandered, should perhaps sit down.
@DanCrenshawTX Give me one good reason it should be illegal to give voters in line water. You can't, so I know you can't give me a good reason why election governance is being transferred to Republican state legislatures. Oh, and by the way, your district is gerrymandered AF.
