How is rejecting 40%-60% of all mail-in ballot applications not voter suppression? #txlege
@DiegoBernalTX If the correct documentation is not available then why shouldn't they be rejected? Geez; enforcing our laws is not racist!
@DiegoBernalTX Ballot applications being rejected at very high rates in Texas, @lisamurkowski. This is voter suppression. Find a way to get federal legislation adopted to prevent this crap, please.
@DiegoBernalTX San Antonio—We had complaints from people that the mail in ballot to register was missing somewhere to write in the required TDL # or last SSN #. Therefore they get rejected. You can have correct one printed at public library. This is Abbott’s doing. #VoterSuppresion
@DiegoBernalTX be 65 years or older; be sick or disabled; be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
@DiegoBernalTX and this is exactly what is happening right now in Texas. The Deadline to register to vote in the March primaries looms. Texas Deadline to register to vote : January 31st 2022. Please register now for the primaries
@DiegoBernalTX when did simply going and voting in the 2 weeks polls are open become too hard?
@DiegoBernalTX To confirm, you're asking why following state election law requiring voter ID for voting by mail is "voter suppression?"
@DiegoBernalTX @dwturner21 It disenfranchises our military living outside the state, as well as our children attending college in another state who still reside in Texas! #TexasRepublicanScum
