What to watch this weekend: 1 seed @StanfordMGym is expected to score 100 #directorscup points this weekend. @StanfordRowing and @TexasRowing are ranked 1 and 2 and face off in Austin tomorrow. These two teams already have wins over teams ranked 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11.
Hey, I know them! Lots of overlap here with top 10 finishers in the directors cup.
A great run for @StanfordWGym comes to an end tonight as they end tied for 5th, scoring 74.3 #directorscup points. They entered the postseason not seeded in the top 16, exceeding their score expectation by about 20 points.
Directors' Cup Top 10 Update: Men's Hockey and Bowling wrapped up this week. @UMichAthletics enters the top 10, replacing their rival Ohio State. M&W Gymnastics finals will officially conclude the winter season next weekend.

Stanford remains at the top of the rankings while @TexasRowing moves up to number 2 after a strong showing this weekend. More late season drama expected to unfold between these two in the 23-24 #directorscup.

The first predicted finish for the 23-24 #Directorscup season shows a very tight finish between the @TexasLonghorns and @GoStanford. It's early, and lots will change but I expect those two to end up on top and we probably won't know until we get to both CWS who will win it all.
I just plugged in the numbers and can not believe how hilarious the outcome of this prediction is. 1 more follower and I can share with y’all tonight.

This would be Stanford’s 2nd lowest score after the new scoring system started in 2017-18 (lowest is post-COVID 2021). It would be Texas’ 3rd highest score. Lower than the last two seasons but higher than their first championship year in 20-21.

@BoloTiesAreCool 31 vs 20. And remember, each school can only count 19 sports. I do agree that some scoring adjustments could be made to make things more competitive. The changes in 2018 have worked, but only to a degree. Stanford would have won the two that Texas won w/o the changes.

The first predicted finish for the 23-24 #Directorscup season shows a very tight finish between the @TexasLonghorns and @GoStanford. It's early, and lots will change but I expect those two to end up on top and we probably won't know until we get to both CWS who will win it all.
