Trump being a DOJ martyr has far greater potential and impact for the country than he ever would as a president. Use the momentum to get someone in who can make a difference, not the guy who increased our debt by $8 trillion and brought us operation warpspeed
@Dr_Bry_So_Fly No. Your contempt of Trump about Op. warpspeed is misplaced. You come to that opinion entirely through the lens of hindsight. No one that I know, no science based institution, agency, medical, epidemiological, nor Virology group took the position to not try to develop a vax.
@Docsbelief Never about not developing a vaccine. It was about the improper testing, allocation of funding to pharma, and indemnity clauses granted to pharma. It was completely unsafe and unethical, and he continues to endorse it. And I at the very start spoke against it. No hindsight needed
@Dr_Bry_So_Fly Again, hindsight…. And no, politically speaking if Trump had come out and said no we aren’t going to try and develop a treatment they would have crusified him more than they did. Your position is not logically and practically defensible IMO. But we are together otherwise
@Docsbelief What part of any of what I said is hindsight? I literally spoke against it during it, prospectively. I dont need hindsight to know when something isnt right. You defending someone who, even with your supposed hindsight, still speaks about how great it is. Thats whats indefensible
@Dr_Bry_So_Fly And in no way have I indicated how “great it is” not for a second if you’re referring to the jab. mRNA is not a vaccine. Never was, never will be. My problem is your condemnation of Trump for providing the funding for finding a vaccine. A true vaccine.
@Dr_Bry_So_Fly But Fauci et al. had this planned for years. They patented the virus. They developed it via NIH’s elicit gain of function research. They likely had the vax in hand when the virus “escaped” from Wuhan. Blaming Trump is silly.
