IRONY. We live in a country where there aren’t enough people who want to work & many that do work aren’t competent enough to function well. Yet the #1 issue for half of the electorate seems to be that people from another country want to come here & work? #ridiculous
It is a testament to how weak/lazy/listless our country has become that Biden & Trump, one a middling geriatric President the other, also a geriatric while being a profoundly awful human being, more carnival barker/snake oil sales man than businessman ran virtually unopposed.
This hysteria about immigration is the single stupidest issue I can imagine. We live in a country where literally no one wants to work! Almost every industry is struggling w/staffing shortages in # & or competency. Creating a natl Peter principle. Immigration needs to ⬆️ not ⬇️.
I am not a Giants/Pirates fan & I know he used steroids like so many of his contemporaries, but the fact that Barry Bonds isn’t in the HOF is a farsical joke. He was OTHERWORLDY good. At his peak he was impossible to get out. He was a top 5% player when he retired in his 40s!
The answer for all this hysteria in CFB is simple beyond expanded playoffs. Break CFB into 3 x 40 team tiers. The top tier all must play within their tier. The top 12 make the playoff. The argument FSU is missing is being 13-0 in ACC is not = 12-1 in SEC. The conferences must go!
Pretty obvious what people who know about football think. Liberty + 14 vs Oregon. FSU + 14 vs UGA. Pretty much says it all!
If they were choosing the 4 best teams it’d be UGA, UM, OSU and BAMA… 5 years from now they will be the teams that have the most players in the NFL. So this is all nonsense. Ultimately this proves why they’d need more teams in.
Interesting comparison for PSU FB fans comparing Paterno to Franklin measuring records since PSU joined B10. PATERNO: 93’->11’ Overall 163-72 .696% BIG 10 96-56 .632% FRANKLIN: 14’->23’ Overall 88-38 .698% BIG 10 56-32 .636%
For PSU the result is about recruiting just looked at recruiting ranking 19’-23’ during that span they’ve avg’d the 13.6th best class. Only in 22’ did they make the top 10. During that tenure OSU’s avg rank is 5.8 & UM 11.2. Franklin isn’t good enough to elevate beyond recruiting
The 76ers are 4-0 since shipping off James Harden & the Clippers are 0-3 since getting him. Astonishing anyone would pay him. Slow offense only ball hog, Balmer is lucky he worked for MSFT the stock was flat when he ran it & it’s been a rocket ride since the Clippers are fools!
As a PSU fan yesterday was disappointing but typical. Just looked at the last 10 years of games excluding the 16’ miracle. Total score quarters 1–>3 - OSU 177 PSU 148. Total 4th quarter score - OSU 121 PSU 58.
