Judgment from Court of Appeal re AH judiciary.uk/judgments/re-a… Hayden J said it was not in AH's BI to continue to receive ventilation. LJ Moylan gave main judgment: "I have, very regrettably, come to the conclusion that the Judge's decision cannot stand+must be set aside"
@OpenJusticeCoP I haven’t read the judgment but followed the great thread here… such a fantastic ruling… process could hardly be more important in cases of highly vulnerable people - *good call, all*👏🥰🙌🥂
@Dowellenough @OpenJusticeCoP I suggest you read it. It seems they didn’t resile from Hayden, J ‘s decision but that his visit to AH was improper. Subtext - you got it right but your workings out where not the way we liked them. Tragic case for all. I commend all who operate in COP. They have tough jobs.
@labour_lives @OpenJusticeCoP I’m good at reading cases brought to my attention by @OpenJusticeCoP - why I noted I hadn’t on this occasion, but I will do asap. Wholeheartedly agree with your observation on COP - my hat goes off to all involved. A very special court - so I’m being taught by @OpenJusticeCoP👏🙏
@Dowellenough @labour_lives There will be another blog post about this case tomorrow reporting on the pre-trial hearing today. Look out for it - and thank you for your support for open justice. Let us know if you'd like some support to observe hearings in the #NotSecretCourt.
