Sort of felt like allowing the Chiefs to go 44 yards in 13 seconds to tie the game helped decide the playoff gm Also the Chiefs defense continually blowing coverages Josh Allen and Mahomes being incredible Some questionable play calling on both sides. But sure, it was a coin

@geoffschwartz Defending NFL OT rules is cringe. Why did the Chiefs not have to prove themselves on defense in OT? Why did the Chiefs not have to be good enough to win in regulation? There needs to be a better method for handling offensive shootouts b/c neither def was gonna make an OT stop.
@JediRalts @geoffschwartz Then we’d be here all night. Who wants to watch that?
@JediRalts @geoffschwartz Nah, just play defense when you take the lead with :13 seconds left. End of discussion
@GJinthebay @JediRalts @geoffschwartz I was reading other tweets/ threads about this until I landed on this one by @geoffschwartz and I actually agree. It’s a team sport. Both offenses were flying high last night. Defense’s however, were not. Would have been a good time for the Bills D to step up and make a stop.
@GJinthebay @JediRalts @geoffschwartz Bills could have done a squib kick off with 13 seconds left. To run down the clock. Bills were also the away team and picked heads vs tails for the OT coin flip. I do like the college OT rules much better than the NFL’s but the Bills had a chance to put the game away.
@GJinthebay @JediRalts @geoffschwartz Also think some are forgetting when a wining the coin toss and a FG on the first possession could end the game in OT.
