We all have to be mindful we're not colluding with the eating disorder. Speak the truth. It's protective not punitive.
Sometimes telling the truth is more important than placating the eating disorder. In fact, it always is. As parents, this makes us the bad guy. As campaigners for change, this also makes us the bad guy guy. I’m old enough not to care about being the bad guy.
