With organisations leaving NA and BR consistently it seems like consolidation between the leagues to make an R6 Americas League is the best course of action for long term sustainability.
@EleganceSBL Would this include only NA and BR or also incorporate Latam into it?
@eaglemees I think prioritising NA and BR would be first and foremost if there are 12 organisations that are willing to support teams all year round, in the event that there are spots looking into LATAM could be feasible
@EleganceSBL It's a very interesting concept and seems similar to what Valorant has right now. However that would mean it needs to be a lan league. Needing constant investment from organisations and ubisoft when it's clear that everyone is downsizing right now in budgets.
@eaglemees Ubisoft downsizing in budgets is what is leading to the competitive demise of R6 esports. If they invest effectively the scene can thrive and it can be lucrative for organisations under this structure
@EleganceSBL I fully agree that the downsizing of budgets is not doing anyone good. And I agree that if they invest effectively looking towards long-term investments that are even in the short term somewhat viable it would lead to positive things. A Lan league however in my eyes is not that.
