Starting April 7, @nscorp rerouted oil/ethanol trains off a less populous rail line via #Mansfield & #Canton to a busier, more populous rail line via Greater #Cleveland. NS also is requesting @USDOTFRA approval to remove about 100 miles of parallel 2nd track via Mansfield/Canton.
@AllAboardOhio @nscorp @USDOTFRA Please. Make sure you are reading fully what @AllAboardOhio proposed backing 2020. We were pointing out that downgrading a largely rural corridor was a better option than where the railroad began routing these trains through heavy populated communities.
