Why does @SpeakerMcCarthy need to conduct another security assessment of the January 6 footage before he releases it to the public? An assessment was already finished by March 2021, and Capitol Police attested that less than 17 hours were considered "security information."
The General Counsel for Capitol Police, Thomas A. DiBiase, swore that there were less than 17 hours of "security information" in the video. He swore this under penalty of perjury!
DiBiase also swore under penalty of perjury that USCP "immediately preserved" all footage from noon until 8 p.m. Now we have learned Capitol Police actually preserved far more than the 14k hours DiBiase swore existed.
DiBiase also swore under penalty of perjury that January 6 was an "attempted insurrection" and that there were "indicted or arrested insurrectionists." However, nobody has been charged with insurrection, because there was no insurrection. Where's the penalty for perjury!?
The biased DeBiase has also repeatedly liked Twitter posts that perpetuate false media and Democratic Party conspiracy theories that January 6 was an 'insurrection.' I brought attention to this in an exhibit for one of my court filings.
Because the government has repeatedly attempted to use Mr. DiBiase's sworn affidavit as justification for withholding CCTV access to January 6 defendants, I raised the issue of Mr. DiBiase's biases in one of my filings seeking full access.
