@GooglePlay Hello, a few days after buying a gift card from the United States, after logging in to my account and confirming its deposit, I am faced with a message that the country of origin of the purchase is not the same as the country of consumption, why?
@azhdarii Thanks for reaching out. As per our new user policy, you won’t be able to complete transactions or redeem Gift Cards that are purchased outside the country or region of your residence. It's against the Play Gift Card Terms of Service. More info here: goo.gle/3zzRBsY.
@GooglePlay @azhdarii Hey @GooglePlay , I bought two redeem codes in India (one through Gpay and Amazon). I could redeem them, but am unable to use them. All my accounts are in India. Nothing from support helped fix this. Any way to fix this?
@normalbeans That doesn't sound good. Try the troubleshooting steps in this guide: goo.gle/2Qd0Jhl. Let us know how it goes.
@GooglePlay Yeah, it didnt help. My payment profile is in India, so are the redeem codes i bought. And the play balance shows up as Indian Rupees
@normalbeans Hmm. We'd like to chat about this. Let's take this conversation over DM.
