(4/4) Governments at all levels must reject stigma and implement policies that uphold human rights, autonomy, and self-determination.

(3/4) Criminalization of homelessness and drug use disproportionately target people who are Indigenous, Black, racialized, and 2SLGBTQQIA+, resulting in harm and death.

(2/4) We heard that governments must shift their approach from responding to unsheltered homelessness as a threat to public order to recognizing it as a #HumanRights issue. The right of encampment residents to live in dignity remains at stake in Canada.
