Could this be the future of airports at luggage & security points? 🛄🛃
@HowThingsWork_ When robots can perform many simple tasks, where should many basic employees go to work?
@HowThingsWork_ Hard to believe general purpose humanoid robots are the answer to much. Purpose-built machines and systems would be much cheaper and faster.
@HowThingsWork_ People thought Ai was going to hit blue-collar, manual labour work first with robots but it turns out white-collar work is going to be impacted first, which actually makes sense in terms of progress given just software is easier to iterate & improve upon than software & hardware
@HowThingsWork_ This would most def help our luggage be handled light years better than how it is today.
@HowThingsWork_ 100years ago, most people in the world were thin & skinny, or fit because they needed to constantly move their bodies or walk Robots now or near future need to constantly move their body or walk & slim down and fit while humans will be using phones constantly like the ones behind
@HowThingsWork_ The robot probably moves at around the same speed as the staff at most airports today. At least things won't get stolen from bags anymore unless they're #oil products? #Robots
@HowThingsWork_ For some weird reason, it makes me really sad watching them work.🥺 Enable computers to be more computer- instead of human. #ComputersHaveRightsToo 😕😅 are we advancing in society- or are we just lazy af anymore. What will humans do while A1 does their jobs?😒 😐#Johhny5
@HowThingsWork_ THIS IS WHAT @amazon @Tesla @Walmart WANTS TO HAPPEN AND THEY ALSO THINK WORKERS COULD STILL AFFORD TO BUT THEIR PRODUCTS WHEN THEIR JOBS ARE GONE TO FREE LABOR.
