a minute@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob So, you concede that people have a right to nations, to create resources within those nations, and to preserve those resources for future generations and not just hand them to the global corporations?

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
17 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob No, it's not wrong at all. I think the people of Sierra Leone or Chad should be able to build a society and an infrastructure for future use by future generations. I don't think I have any right to that. That's a core human right.

21 minutes ago@smthngnope @LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Please don't use curse words!

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
22 minutes ago@smthngnope @LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Well, thanks for that contribution.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
23 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Not if they are resources built up and husbanded by the social contract for future generations to use.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
25 minutes ago@smthngnope @LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Well, if Blair and Obama were Jewish. Or Netanyahu and Ben Shapiro weren't. Or something.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
27 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob What would you expect corporate lawyers to say? Presumably they work for the same organisations that use all black actors in their advertising whilst exploiting child labour in Africa. That's one aspect of wokery.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
32 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Well, there can be. Nations are extensions of families, organisations linking generations that can strengthen us, protect us from our enemies, allow us to support one another and organise in our own defence. Borders keep out people who may wish to conquer us or take our resources

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
43 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob As I say, the substitution of platitudes, semiotics and linguistic gestures for genuine charity and love in order to assist the global corporations in advancing their goals through division, demoralisation and conquest.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
50 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob The Bible explicitly sanctions nations.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
55 minutes ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob No it doesn't. Lots of black people oppose woke ideology. Most African churches are characterised by ideas that can be understood as anti-woke.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
a hour ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob A grave sin.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
a hour ago@LoudCityMickey @insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Well, there are. And nations are unions of people, capable of organising themselves in their own defence against exploitation. That is why the globalists promote multiculturalism, diversity, open borders and supranational government, not because they care about people.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
2 hours ago@insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob All things known today as "woke" tend towards advancing corporate hegemony. Open borders, sexual licence, attacks on marriage and the family, the denigration of national identities, gender ideology. Things that make the individual atomised and weak, and the corporations strong.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
3 hours ago@insides_un @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Neither do I. MLK was not woke. He stood for the Christian morality which allows people to stand up to exploitation. He demanded to be judged on the content of his character.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
3 hours ago@smthngnope @RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob No, standing up to injustice and power imbalances is called morality. Woke is using language and semiotics to distract from the perpetuation of power imbalances whilst weakening the morality that protects people from exploitation.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
3 hours ago@RadioNightTrain @LBC @mrjamesob Woke means substituting morality, work, integrity and charity for platitudes, semantics and sentiment. It's what corporations do whilst they are raping the world, and what the Met do when they are raping women.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
3 hours ago@LBC @mrjamesob No it's not. The Met are one of the wokest organisations in the UK.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
3 hours ago@yplac_ed I would assume someone who drove like that was drunk or on drugs. I would consider that a police matter.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@edwest Correct. We should decriminalise drug *use*, but put people who do use drugs into secure rehabilitation and detoxification units until they are cured, and then test them weekly. And have virtual death sentences for drug dealers. We should start the war on drugs.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@Independent Sincerely glad to hear it. Great idea, playing Elton John songs to motivate you to get out of hospital.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@Sathnam It's two sides of the same coin. A politicised police force is a dangerous police force.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@tonyrandall37 @Otto_English Exactly. Why should we get a monopoly on all the refugees and asylum seekers?

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@BBCNews Twitter isn't for everyone, obviously. It's not like Elon Musk forces you to use it. If people are abusive, block them. Or just laugh at them. Or ignore them. If they slander you, then sue them. If they post lies and misinformation, then correct them.

Hugh Oxford @HughOxford
6 hours ago@Otto_English Metre, not meter. It could be purely symbolic, some kind of monument to ending the deaths in the channel, providing aid to Rwanda and helping them to share in talent and skills who would otherwise come to the UK.
