Here we go again. Travelling in circles on the same godawful merry-go-round. inews.co.uk/opinion/covid-…
No.10 persistently fails to learn from the past, heed the experience of other countries, or behave decisively when the moment comes. So now we have to watch, with dreary inevitability, as they make the same mistakes all over again.
@IanDunt I'm past the point of being aggravated - we're stuck in some terrifying version of Groundhog Day, where a thousand people a week dying is "mercifully" low according to the Health Secretary
@IanDunt I fear these are not mistakes. They want us demoralised and anaesthetised to what they are up to: disguising the Brexit screw up while they asset strip the U.K. and end all checks and balances (parl, judicial, regulatory) and free ride over the decent country we used to be.
@IanDunt 'Look where it's got us', says @sajidjavid Over 139k people killed by #Covid19 within 28 days of a postive test. (Those never tested or who struggled for life for more than 28 days - just don't count) Over 1,000 dying every week. Truly world beating #LetTheBodiesPileHigh
@IanDunt He's just said use lateral flow tests before mixing, only problem our pharmacy says there's a supply problem.... Heard that before?
@IanDunt @TeresaC123 A poor quality government which only looks toward the next election is damaging. During a pandemic it's murder.
@IanDunt @Billjfindlay1 Not dreary for those who are dying, terrifying.
@IanDunt Yep. This will be the third time in a row. Incompetence or deliberate?
@IanDunt Telling that you could pre-write that article because it was entirely telegraphable what the govt were going to say and do. That says it all. Governing is an afterthought for this government.
