It's had a good run and I have several things from there over time, but I do hope that Valve at least has some plan of action to replace it. Just deleting it without a successor at least in the pipeline would be bad for business, and an unwarranted kick in the teeth to the fans.

I don't know why, but I would have liked to have seen this happen, if only out of curiosity of how you'd even go about this "heist" in the first place. Easy to see why it was cut, though. The Diesel engine would have turned into spaghetti just at the thought of doing this.
