Regardless of whether Brandon Miller legally did anything wrong, bringing a gun that resulted in the death of a human being isn't "wrong spot at the wrong time." I'm still flabbergasted Nate Oats actually used those words to describe the situation.
@JTalty Really? So you ask me to bring you your gun when I come to give you a ride.. you tell the shooter where the gun is and it’s my fault for bringing you your gun?
@JTalty Worst use of phrasing I can remember. Completely minimized the severity of the situation. Let alone the life lost.
@JTalty Depending on various factors... I wonder if this opens him up to a civil suit and possibly Alabama.
@JTalty Say what you want, but the kid isn't charged with anything. His coaches' choice of words isn't on him. If Miller knew what was going to happen and he brought him the gun, then he would be charged. Fact is, he's a witness for the state.
@JTalty Miller literally was giving someone else their own gun back to them. How is that illegal?
@JTalty It was Miles gun he had left in Millers car. All Miller did was drive over there so miles could get his own gun out of millers car because he had told Miller someone was threatening him. Miller did nothing illegal.
@JTalty This is called Aiding and Abetting a crime, he didn’t bring a gun to his buddy so he would be able to get drinks faster or dance better at the club, a young woman is dead because he brought his weapon to a friend, nothing more nothing less, don’t try to smoke & mirror this crime
@JTalty Not sure how anyone could root for a team that had this player or coach, much less both of them.
@JTalty Why has he not been terminated? Really speaks volumes about winning is all that matters!
