As well as giving PPE contracts costing £billions of taxpayers money to their cronies, the government has written off £10bn in Covid PPE that was deemed unfit for use, unusable, overpriced, or undelivered. We are paying them for corruption and negligence. on.ft.com/3HowGwE
@JamesMelville With no opposition this shows who else is involved in this corruption they should be fully audited ,I would also like to see those pushing net zero be audited wonder how many MPs are financially invested into this technology just like they were in the last scam TRANSPARENCY?
@JamesMelville @drbobgill Why can't the government claim from the seller for faulty goods like a normal customer? We would be sending it back to them and demanding a refund.
@JamesMelville Over sensationalising the world wide clammer to procure PPE during the early stages of the pandemic is not great. Does this justify profiteering, of course not and anyone involved should be held accountable. Procurement rules failed globally, the dodgy bit is the fast track
@JamesMelville @thecoastguy Can’t we get the money back .
@JamesMelville In the real world you would be sacked possibly never get a job again.
@JamesMelville When I think of my time working for the state auditor I'm reminded of Patrick Henry who said "The liberties of a people can never be secure so long as the transactions of its ruler's are hidden from them.".
@JamesMelville Not the companies who sold the gov stuff that wasn't fit for sale. Crazy how this cannot be claimed back
@JamesMelville It makes me laugh when people make a massive deal about browns gold sale when it actually made the UK richer and the Tories prefer just to burn money.
@JamesMelville @thecoastguy Yet people still just nod in agreement with you and do nothing. We should be taking to the streets en mass to show our disgust about this corruption/ negligence
