If you want unusual results, you’re going to need some missionary, brilliant “organizational misfits” on your team. wsj.com/articles/rings…
@JeffBezos Would you say that was the case in Amazon’s early days?
@JeffBezos You know you could be working on world hunger, or Covid or polio eradication, or any off a number of good works that might mean you are membered as more than a trivia question a century hence. Or at least endow the WaPo as a self-funding non-profit in perpetuity.
@JeffBezos I agree with @elonmusk -- most of the characters, overall story and pacing are horrible. Nothing pulled me in. The hobbits are just so boring to watch. Boring, slow and not a fun to watch.
@JeffBezos I would think unusual results in TODAY'S society would be someone convincing the upper most seats in large corporations to take hefty pay cuts to raise the quality of life of the laborers that sacrifice their bodies to ensure the company can actually exist.
@JeffBezos Amazon turkey Absolutely no customer satisfaction @amazon
@JeffBezos The problem is Congress doesn't represent the American people. Ever since the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929, we and each next generation of Americans are getting screwed with less representation in Congress. Fix the above issue and one fixes America.
@JeffBezos Brilliant mavericks are often outcasts in their communities until opportunity strikes and they demonstrate their brilliance.
@JeffBezos ❤️ @JeffBezos you made Amazon the most customer centric organization by accommodating misfits and leveraging their strengths. Courage and Empathy in full display.
