Now on TPR: @BirdRideCanada E-Scooters will launch in #HamOnt on April 3rd, says @cityofhamilton in a presentation today. #yhmcc thepublicrecord.ca/2023/03/city-h…
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton ...so over 600 accidents involving them, in one summer (2021), in Calgary - some of them serious... With an already existing shortage of medical staff, and an increase in waiting room times at hospitals, this sounds like an excellent idea!
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton Will this pay for itself? Oh - I forgot it’s @cityofhamilton the city that gives and gives & taxes to the hilt.
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton E-scooter lobbyists in full force at #HamOnt public works committee @ridescooty bamboozled councillors with 2 deputations, one under its corporate banner the other (left) presented by a Scooty corporate officer who impersonated as a private resident with “personal connections”
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton Interesting @BirdRide was the fastest company to reach the $1 billion "unicorn" valuation so it can scale up better, bigger and faster than @ridescooty who is taking the political-elected-officials-influence approach. Photo credits 📸 @ridescooty
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton WHAT could possibly go wrong! I’m sure that all users are going to adhere to the ‘strict’ rules being put in place. How do riders get insurance? Who pays for incidents when on the roads with other vehicles, or when they go onto sidewalks (and they will) with pedestrians?
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton God bless the drivers in Hamilton 😡
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton Putting all drivers at risk is irresponsible
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton I love this!
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton Is the Bile share still making money or breaking even as planned ?
@JoeyColeman @BirdRideCanada @cityofhamilton Who picks up the tab for lawsuits?🤔
