The @HamiltonPolice budget is based on the 10 Year Human Capital Plan - which was approved and implemented last term. 88% of the 2023 increase is salary & wages - this is a fixed commitment based mainly on union contracts.

@JohnPaulDanko @HamiltonPolice So police have lots of money to harass out homeless citizens, while maintaining an end of fiscal year surplus, but somehow need 12 Million more. Have I missed something?
