The legislation passed by the Ugandan Parliament yesterday, known as the Anti-Homosexuality Act, is appalling and abhorrent – no one, nowhere, should have to live in fear because of who they are or whom they love. We strongly urge Ugandan lawmakers to reconsider this legislation.
@JustinTrudeau I am sorry for the hundreds of thousands of people in Uganda who will not be able to identify themselves as such. Reading this news in 2023 is very disheartening💔 This makes you appreciate much much more the rights in our society that we take for granted sometimes
@JustinTrudeau Can’t wait to see how the haters make this seem bad
@JustinTrudeau Does this include people who are persecuted by their government for making personal health decisions?
@JustinTrudeau Now do US and their anti abortion laws and removing books from classrooms.
@JustinTrudeau Many countries in Asia still practice slavery, child brides and child labour. Why don't u condemn them?
@JustinTrudeau Have you spoken out yet on the Excited States and their reborn state-level anti-homosexual agenda? Or is that different?
@JustinTrudeau How about you mind your own business and let Uganda deal with their own country according to their own culture and values. You have open borders, welcome them all here instead of the criminals and terrorists you let in.
@JustinTrudeau Never mind Uganda. You were elected to represent Canadians.
@JustinTrudeau Now do Saudi Arabia.
