Gościnna społeczność i wolontariusze służący wsparciem robią tu co mogą, by pomóc potrzebującym. To dzięki ich pracy 300 ukraińskich kobiet i dzieci, które przebywają obecnie w ośrodku, może znaleźć chwilę wytchnienia po doświadczeniach związanych z wojną.

The welcoming community and supportive volunteers here are doing so much to help those in need. It’s clear to see how the 300 Ukrainian women and children staying here can remain so positive having experienced such hardship.

Ten punkt pobytowy zapewnia dwa bezpłatne posiłki dziennie, lekcje języka polskiego, wsparcie psychologiczne i zawodowe, a nawet „bezpłatny sklep”, w którym każdy ma dostęp do odzieży oraz środków higieny osobistej. To prawdziwy azyl na linii frontu kryzysu humanitarnego. [4/4]

Dzięki hojności Polaków ludziom uciekającym przed wojną w Ukrainie udało się znaleźć w Polsce schronienie. Niestety kryzys humanitarny trwa do dziś, a wielu uchodźców szuka schronienia w ośrodkach zapewniających zakwaterowanie, takich jak ten, który dziś odwiedzamy. [3/3]

This centre provides two free meals a day, Polish language lessons, psychological & employment support and even a free shop giving its residents access to clothes as well as sanitary and hygiene products. It really is a sanctuary on the frontline of the humanitarian crisis. [2/2]

Thanks to the generosity of the Polish people, those fleeing the war in Ukraine have found shelter. Sadly, the humanitarian crisis continues today with many refugees seeking shelter at accommodation centres like the one we’re visiting today. [1/4]

Dzisiaj po południu, po przyjeździe do Polski, spotkałem się z brytyjskimi i polskimi żołnierzami, od których usłyszałem o ich niezwykłej pracy na rzecz Ukrainy. W imieniu nas wszystkich – dziękuję!
