We should fight back against this. The game is being run in the interests of the few, not the many.
Spot on @TranmereRovers
This is an inhumane disgrace. The @DWPgovuk is entirely unfit for purpose and I hope any incoming Labour government makes it a top priority for radical reform to stop this kind of barbarity.

I am proud that in the @LiverpoolLabour group, we have councillors from many different backgrounds and life experiences. That too includes people who have experienced deep hardship and personal trauma, just like thousands of our residents have and still experience every day.…
Why this type of person can often succeed. 1️⃣ A severe overestimation of their own abilities. 2️⃣ The inability to feel shame. 3️⃣ A frightening lack of self awareness. Even when they’ve fallen flat on their face, there is no pause, no self reflection. Staggering 🤯

In their memory, we’ll continue to fight for a Hillsborough Law to ensure that families bereaved through public tragedy never have to endure the same hardships as those affected by the events on 15 April 1989. 👇 A Hillsborough Law is based on four key pillars:
35 years. Thinking of 97 precious loved ones. Thinking of the people I love who have carried the weight of this day. Thinking of all I have learnt from the efforts of those trying to get justice. Thinking of how our country has to change. We need #Hillsboroughlawnow
Our thoughts today, as always, are with all those affected by the tragedy at Hillsborough and the 97 fans who will never be forgotten. You’ll Never Walk Alone.
It is sickening to see a Tory former Home Secretary lining up to speak alongside far right racists, homophobes, antisemites and Islamophobes. If Sunak has any authority left he will stop Braverman attending or remove the whip. theguardian.com/politics/2024/…
Liverpool Labour’s free swimming offer during the school holidays has had a cracking response this Easter with over 5000 children benefiting so far. It’s great to see family and friends getting active. Don’t miss out, you’ve got the weekend to go! 🏊♂️ @LiverpoolLabour
This is a great idea. Donating to foodbanks never been more important but even more important to donate what they are short of.

Following a further points deduction handed to @Everton, fans are rightly challenging the lack of transparency and consistency in how penalties are applied. These decisions demand proper scrutiny. The Club and supporters continue to have my full support.

Really proud to have started & led the campaign in Lpool to protect our centres. Thankful for @LiverpoolLabour commitment to continue doing so & build on this with development of family hubs #improvingoutcomes #health #education #community

Disappointed to see that @Everton has had a further points deduction. The inconsistency of different commissions in respect of the application of points deductions, needs to be fully scrutinised. As always, I will support the club, players & fans any way I can.

So we now know that the @premierleague have tried to take 17 points off @Everton this season. We have ended up with double the penalty despite a similar level of breach as Forest. We should fight back against this injustice with everything we have got and keep all options open.
Once again more questions than answers where the Premier League is concerned, but glad to see EFC continuing to win the argument around fairness - and I support them in their appeal. The lack of consistency, transparency and leadership from the PL has been a disgrace throughout.

🏠 Council housing was good enough for my mum and her eight kids - and it's still good enough for families today. 🧱 If re-elected, I'll oversee a return to building new council houses. 🔑 And ensure more local families have a home to call their own. #TakingBackOurFuture
It was brillant to visit @MonksdownSchool today and speak to the great teachers and even better kids. Great Q&A. We are lucky to have such a great school serving our community.
This is the change Labour governments deliver. theguardian.com/society/2024/m…
