Today our national debt is 100 times larger than it was in 1965—nearly $32 TRILLION. For the first time, our national debt is now equal to the size of our entire economy.
One of the biggest drivers is so-called entitlement spending—programs like Social Security and Medicare—which make up more than 70% of our national budget. Medicare has 5 years before it’s insolvent. Social Security has 10 years if we’re lucky.
We owe the American people and your generation bold leadership and a better deal. All it takes is a little courage, and leaders with integrity!
@Mike_Pence Integrity? Oh Mike, how the mighty have fallen. The GOP can't legislate their way out of a paper bag, let alone run a thriving economy. History doesn't lie, Mike.
@Mike_Pence Integrity = not you.
@Mike_Pence Actually, one of the biggest drivers was the previous administration. You were vice president. The debt increased 25 percent during Trump/Pence years. washingtonpost.com/business/2021/…
@Mike_Pence None of what you were barking is factual. What is factual that the Trump/Pence administration increased the debt 25%. Let’s be clear
@Mike_Pence You of all people shouldn’t be speaking of “courage”. You are a coward
@Mike_Pence You'll find them already in the WH. But please, just stay home.
@Mike_Pence You owe the American people for the 4 years you stood by and defended that man, you know the one who wanted you hung. Take a seat Pence you're done, no respect from either side anymore.
